HTC M8 Eye with 13MP Duo Camera to land in October

According to a new rumor, we should see the smartphone codenamed HTC M8 Eye in stores before the end of October.
This device is said to be nothing more than a One (M8) with a 13 MP Duo Camera on its rear. The 'vanilla' M8 has a 4 MP camera, in the now famous Duo configuration which features a depth sensor alongside the main lens.
That depth sensing ability shouldn't be lost in the M8 Eye, but HTC seems prepared to finally let is much-loved UltraPixels go. These are the main feature of its otherwise low-res camera on the One (M8), as the company has long believed that bigger pixels equal better pictures. But now it looks set to put all of that aside for a 'normal' 13 MP sensor on this M8 Eye.
The new handset will apparently launch running Android 4.4.4 KitKat with HTC Sense 6 on top. A previous leak on the matter did however claim that the Eye would have a 5.2-inch touchscreen, bigger than the One (M8)'s 5-inch panel (though keeping the same 1080p resolution).

ne znam, HTC nikako da se stabilizuje u nekom segmentu. Lutaju mnogo izmedju premium i lower range segmenta, a evo sad najavljuju i pandan gopro kamerama. Ne sumnjam u njihov kvalitet, nego ne mogu da se izbore sa samsungovim marketingom(kao vodecim proizvodjacem), LG-jem koji vec dobrano kidise i kinezima koji plave

HTC has an event scheduled for 8th October, and the company may be about to launch a new high-end device probably in the "One" range.
- Many rumors suggest the unveiling of the HTC "Eye" or M8_EYE which is expected mainly to bring a new camera, borrowing the 13MP Duo Cam of the recent announced HTC Butterfly 2 and perhaps an IPX7 certification.
- Leaks suppose a new ROM still based on Android 4.4.4 to be launched in 1-2 weeks. It could be the next version of HTC Sense, updating maybe to v. 6.5 or 6+...
- This remains the previous rumors about the mysterious HTC "Selfie Phone" which can be linked to HTC Desire 820's new front facing camera at 8MP unveiled on 4th September.

HTC’s last attempt at a flagship phablet left us pretty dissatisfied, but it looks like the company may try again this year with a super-sized version of the One (M8). According to a new report from Chinese site MyDrivers, the One (M8) Max will offer high-end hardware and a premium design to match.

Rumors of a One (M8) Prime first started to leak out back in May, but now it looks like the company is finally getting ready to launch the new phablet. The device allegedly comes equipped with a 5.5-inch 2K display, a Snapdragon 805 processor clocked at 2.7GHz, 3GB of RAM and runs Android with HTC’s new updated Sense 6.5 software on top. The M8 Max may also feature an aluminum and ceramic design, while earlier reports claimed it could be the company’s first waterproof flagship phone.

From the looks of it the One (M8) Max will offer some seriously impressive hardware, which is exactly where last year’s One Max fell short. HTC is a bit late to the 2014 phablet party though, with Apple and Samsung already offering their own super-sized smartphones. Hopefully we’ll get an official look at the new device in the not-too-distant future, but for now we’re still treating these rumors as just that: rumors.

Ljudi ostvarili zaradu u proteklom periodu smanjujući troškove.
Postavljam ovde jer smatram da će baš ovaj redizajnirani M8 i 820 biti pun pogodak po pitanju zarade. Ne znam kakva je reakcija širom sveta na 816, ali naslednik je definitivno odličan mid-range telefon i mislim da će se baš lepo prodavati. O M8 nema potrebe trošiti reči, sa ovom kamerom i novim softverom tek.

P.S. Galaxy S5 ima 2800 mAh pa mu baterija drži neverovatno dobro ...

Ni ja ne vidim neku poentu ove kamere prednje od 13Mpx,osim sto ce devojke moci da uslikavaju "selfi-e" sa mnogo boljim kvalitetom
